LE FIL DE L’HISTOIRE
Choregraphy : Harold Rhéaume
Premiere : juillet 2008
LE FIL DE L’HISTOIRE is an interactive in situ show presented in different sites of Quebec City: Cour du Vieux Séminaire, Place Royale and Musée de la civilisation (outside and inside), as part of the Quebec City’s 400th Anniversary.
In total, four choreographic tableaux, inspired by the history and topography of the chosen sites, compose this piece interpreted by ten dancers (five women and five men). These tableaux are linked by the thread of History — an immense red cable conceived by artist Jacques Samson — that spectators grab to pass from one station to another. A unique and lively rendez-vous, showcasing all the richness of Quebec City.
