The Ten Commandments. Encounters 1998-2021 : Charles-Alexis Desgagnés and Harold Rhéaume

Unveiling a satellite project of THE TEN COMMANDMENTS 2020 in collaboration with Espace Perreault Choreographic transmission.

To encourage reflection on transmission and memory, and to honour the participation of dancers in the creative process, The Ten Commandments. Encounters 1998-2021 reunites the original and current dancers, who will talk about the work, its meaning and its score.

Here, first opus : Usurp. Thou shalt not steal, Charles-Alexis Desgagnés encounters Harold Rhéaume. Together, they analyze the origins of the work and question the current meaning of the commandment and its incarnation in the dancer’s body.
